Alaska's Future promotes the common business interests of
its members, the members of its trade association members,
and of other businesses and entrepreneurs in the state of
Alaska by
(a) helping Alaskans to better understand public policy issues
of interest to Alaskan businesses and entrepreneurs and helping
Alaskans better communicate their views on pubic policy issues
of interest to businesses and entrepreneurs;
(b) communicating positions and views of legislators, candidates
for public office, and elected and appointed government officials;
(c) promoting decisions by legislative and government officials
that promote business growth and job creation in Alaska;
(d) promoting new business projects in Alaska that will result
in the new business opportunities for existing businesses
and entrepreneurs;
(e) encouraging Alaskan citizens to let their legislators,
elected and appointed legislative and government officials
and candidates for public office know that the public supports
public policy that promotes business growth and job creation
and nurtures the American entrepreneurial spirit thereby increasing
the likelihood that legislators and legislative bodies will
act in ways that favor a strong job creating economy;
(f) encouraging communication, discussion and concerted action
by and among its members in furtherance of their common business
interests to encourage a strong, pro-business environment
in Alaska;
(g) working with civic leaders and other interested parties
who share the goal of Alaska's Future;
(h) engaging in other activity in furtherance of the common
business interests of its members; and
(i) engaging in any lawful activity incidental to the foregoing
purposes.
